Interested candidates may apply their application form through university website www.mzu.edu.in. Last date for application is 10th July, 2019. Admission Test Schedule for MLIS, M. Phil. and Ph. D. Candidates

This is to inform you that Department is going to conduct the Admission Test for MLIS, M. Phil. and Ph. D. courses run by the Department for the academic session 2019-2020. Interested candidates may apply admission form through Mizoram University website. The entrance test schedule along with tentative syllabus in given here under:

This is to inform you that Mizoram University has organised Elocution Competition on the topic "Yoga for Healthy and Happy Life" on the occasion of 5th International Day of Yoga -2019 on 3rd June, 2019 at Department of Hindi. Five PhD and MPhil scholars of department have participated in the competition and won the prizes as below:

Grand Success by Dr. Tabasum Begum

Dear All,

We are very glad to inform you that Dr. Tabasum Begum, Ex-PhD Scholar and Alumni of the Department has been selected for Librarian (Contract) post in Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti Schools in Shillong Region recently. She has achieved the top rank among 199 candidates appeared for the test. She has completed her Ph. D. under the supervision of Prof. S. N. Singh.

Successful Completion of M. Phil. Open Viva-voce by Lalremsiama

Dear All,

This is to inform you all that Mr. Lalremsiama, M. Phil. Scholar successfully defended his M. Phil. open viva-voce held at the Department on 30th May, 2019. Prof. S. N. Singh was the subject expert for his open viva-voce. The other members were Prof. Bhartendu Singh (Dean Nominee); Prof. S. N. Singh as Head, and Prof. Pravakar Rath as Supervisor. Research Scholars, Faculty Members, and Non-teaching staff of the Department were present during the open viva-voce.
